Author Guidelines for Abstract Submission

The International Academy of Perinatal Medicine Annual Meeting 2026

1. Eligibility

Abstract submissions are open to healthcare professionals, researchers, academicians, residents, fellows, and students with an interest in maternal, fetal, reproductive, and perinatal medicine.

2. Scientific Categories Authors should submit their abstracts under one of the following categories:
  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Reproductive Medicine
  • Perinatal Medicine
  • Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy
  • Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Maternal Health and Public Health
  • Basic and Translational Research
  • Medical Education
  • Other Related Topics

3. Abstract Format
Abstracts must be written in English and structured as follows:

Original Research

  • Background
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Case Reports

  • Introduction
  • Case Presentation
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion

4. Word Limit

  • Maximum 250 words
  • Title excluded from the word count
  • No tables, figures, or references permitted
  • Use standard abbreviations only

5. Title

  • Maximum 25 words
  • Use sentence case
  • Avoid abbreviations in the title

6. Authors and Affiliations

  • List all authors in submission order
  • The presenting author must be clearly identified
  • Include institutional affiliations and country for all authors

7. Submission Process

  • Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the official submission portal
  • Multiple submissions are permitted

8. Publication

Accepted abstracts will be published in the official Abstract Book and Conference Proceedings of the IAPM Annual Scientific Meeting 2026.
